As concepts go, most designs stand on their own merit and need nothing else to exist for them to hopefully one day go into production. Then there are the more rare concept designs that are completely dependent on yet other concepts to be created in order for the first to exist. Got that? So now that we got that out of the way, check out the “DesCom” by Sung-kyu Nam. Completely dependent on the existence of a giant Samsung media centric laptop computer , this desk beautifully and simply integrates the computer (almost)seamlessly into the desktop surface. Looks great when all together, but when the computer is gone you are left with a desk that has the only distinction of having an uneven surface.
P-Per cell phone a concept designed by the Chocolate Agency and winner of won Red Dot Design Awards 2007. P-Per made only from 4 layers, and one of them is an e-paper screen, which warps the entire phone.
Made out entirely of sustainable materials, this futuristic cell phone is using extruded polycarbonate to cope with its physical functions, hypoallergenic and recyclable titanium parts, and environmental friendly organic battery which is free from heavy metals.

These keyboards feature 104 keys in a standard QWERTY layout, but with a nifty twist of being the most portable keyboard seen to date. Simply roll the unit up when you're done with it! A great tool for laptop users who miss their full-sized KB when on the road, or LAN party warriors looking to lighten their load.
The individual raised keys allow an amazing amount of tactile feedback when depressed. Wider keys such as the "Space' and "Backspace" keys contain multiple sensors to improve typing accuracy. While it takes a bit of geting used to (finding the center of the keys is more essential than with normal keyboards), the portability of design and utter silence during use make this puppy a winner.
True-Touch Roll-up keyboard
I have said it in the past and it still holds true, printers are one of the stupidest technologies on Earth. These single purpose machines are always screwing up. They process information like my grandmother on Valium and cost more to operate per use than smoking crack cocaine with a Belgian prostitute. That being said, printer design has (up until now) been very boring and unimaginative. Introducing “Trak” by designer Hung Chih Wang. He has brilliantly re-imagined mobile printing by placing the entire operation on the back of a laptop display. With a detachable printer head and USB powered, this ultra compact design should be perfect for road warriors everywhere…until it screws up and prints the same wrong page over and over and over and over again.
Another Touchscreen Phone But Wait, This One Has A Surprise!
Check out this concept mobile phone called the Mooon+. One too many “o’s” in there but I appreciate the clean design. It’s got that big gorgeous touchscreen, sleek design, sexy metal accents, and a digital camera. So what’s the big deal right? The mouth piece detaches and turns into a bluetooth headset. Ooh snap, I love it!
